More official details - including a particularly long list of exhibits and traders - are at:
On that list is our own 1:32 Finescale stand, proposed by Derek Pollard this time last year.
It’s the length of a mainline coach, so it was quite a task to find it a tablecloth.
The headline banner reads: 1:32 - Exploring the Possible and everything shown will be to our scale.
The centrepiece is Pete Insole’s fine model of Bagshot Station, flanked by a few of Chris Tolhurst's batch of King Arthurs and some of Peter Rogers's coaches.
Lawrie Loveless and a colleague will bring a selection of his own and his competitors' stunning rolling stock to confirm The Possible.
We hope to borrow Steve Cook's tiny but perfectly formed Dungeness Siding, courtesy of it's present owner (Cliff Barker, the only commercial maker of 1:32 scale track parts).
Fred Phipps, whose new 5 plank wagon kit will be on sale shortly, is coming with Bob Hunter, and we hope to pool examples of Fred’s superlative kits.
While all the commercial models have been designed to run on 'ordinary' track, we will not be neglecting wheels and track. Simon Castens is bringing a ScaleOne32 turnout so that people can feel how well scale wheels run over scale crossings. Bear with me as I attempt to demonstrate wheel re-profiling on simple equipment.
Please come and introduce yourselves, and display 1:32 models if you wish.
