ABOUT THE WOLF MAN
"The silence of the night, under the full moon, is suddenly shattered by the horrifying screams of the werewolf, a fiendish creature spawned in madness to become a servant of Satan. The wolfman will attack any living human, child or adult, as he prowls the night in search of victims to satiate his murderous, insane desire to kill.
Since the beginning of written records, many early legends came from learned men of old and in addition to the numerous stories told and retold in the villages all over the old country, the terrifying accounts of the werewolf and the vampire became a shuddering, chilling reality. The undead and the bestial inhuman fiends crawled from the noxious slime of Hades to kill, desecrate and live on human blood while they carried out their fouls assignments.
The werewolf would appear when the moon was full, to remain as a beast stalking human prey until daylight when it would once again assume the form o f a man or woman, for the werewolf cult included both male and female members, ready to bring death with their sharp fangs ripping out the throats of their victims. These wild, hairy brutes would slink through the swamps and woods with little fear of extinction for it was written that only a silver bullet could kill them.
Stories came from Transylvania, Hungary and other countries and were pieced together for careful study. Lycanthropy, it was called, which meant the transforming from a human form to its form of an animal Tales of werewolves persisted down through the ages and specialists have explained their views on Lycanthropy and how a human acquires the form of a wolfman.
It is believed that heredity is responsible for this cursed malady, the tainted bloodline being passed to the descendants whenever a werewolf mated while in its human form. As the offspring grows older, the signs of the werewolf become stronger until suddenly one night when the moon is full the complete change takes place.
Unknown internal glands begin to react during the full moon and the stricken human is gripped with a ghastly fear as his hair bristles and begins to develop over the entire body with an added coarseness in texture. The secreted fluids from the mysterious glands causes the facial muscles to twitch as the bone structure starts a complete change and the teeth become elongated with points like wolf fangs. The horrifying transformation is taking place as the heart action speeds up to cause a rush of blood to the brain, numbing it beyond its reasoning powers, setting in a mental block as other organisms in the body step up their metabolic pace. The bestial influence dominates the animal-like body, the hypersensitivity of the human mind is in a stupor conquered by the animalistic instincts to kill, and when he returns to human form when daylight comes, he is unable to account for his acts of murder. Only a silver bullet can kill a werewolf and it will return to its human form when released from the curse by death.
Many novels have been written on the activities of various wolfmen in addition to stage plays and motion pictures on the subject. The werewolf has been known to exist since the early days of Greek mythology and legends, continuing down through the centuries in the sagas of the north and tales of the middle ages to the present time.
The moon is full and you hear chilling howls echoing through the night; Datan’s servants the werewolves are preparing to take part in the Devil’s Sabbath, and have you noticed that your nervous facial twitch seems more prominent about now?"
