Here are some cool monster toys that were either produced by Aurora outright, or heavily influenced by the Monster Kits. These are some of the Holy Grails of collectors items these days, often fetching hundreds or even thousands at auction. Such coolness!

AURORA "MONSTER COLORS" PAINT SET
You had to have this box of creepy colors to get the right finish on your kit back in the day. The artwork alone makes this a piece of commercial art worth collecting. But good luck, this is one seriously rare item.
A very good example of this recently went for over two grand at a
Heritage Auction. Wow!
AURORA COPPERSMITH MONSTER ART KITS
These cool units would have made for a most excellent weekend projects for a '60s Monster Kid! You would place a thin (approx. 30 gauge) copper sheet over a plastic mold with a convex image of your chosen Aurora Kit monster (in the famous model poses, of course) and press down with a stylus to press the metal down into the mold.
When you flipped the sheet over, you had a 3-D raised image of the monster. Then you'd rub it with steel wool, and "age" it with the oxidizing tablet and water. Glue it to the leatherette mounting board and it was ready to hang on your bedroom wall! Wicked!
The finished products were quite satisfying!
Notice that all but the Wolf Man version contain elements of the model kits, including poses and/or components from the diorama bases.
You can still track down original and recast molds on eBay and there re folks on Etsy who sell new rubbings!
'60s ANCHOR-HOCKING DRINKING GLASSES
What '60S monster kid wouldn't be thrilled to slurp their Nestle's Quik or Tang from one of these extra-cool glasses? The beautiful artwork on each one is actually pulled from famous publicity stills of the classic creatures.
These little darlin's still come up on eBay quite often. They usually pull between $80 and $150 bucks, depending on the subject and quality.
AURORA "GLOW HEADS" CEREAL PREMIUMS
These little gems were in "specially marked boxes" of your favorite Saturday morning rocket fuel. They were apparently molded from the actual Aurora Monsters themselves, and had the same "ghostly glow power" as the kits!

Sporting copies of the iconic James Bama box art, these awesome items
are a definite must-have for serious Aurora collectors.

U.S.P.S. MONSTER POSTAGE STAMPS
Even the US Postal Service got in on the monster craze when it issued a set of stamps featuring beautiful images of the iconic Universal Monsters back in 1997. These stunning portraits were created by Thomas Blackshear ll, and are among the best renderings of the Classic Monsters.
Produced in 1997, collectors can still get their hands on these beauties.
Full sheets, strips and singles are still flying all about the ol' inter-tubes.

HASBRO MONSTER PAINT BY NUMBER SETS
What '60s Monster Kid didn't dream of having the artistic talent of the great James Bama? These killer kits could help get you there!
These beauties are extremely scarce, and very highly prized.
The empty boxes alone fetch well over $500 for a clean example.
SPP / MATTEL MONSTER WALLETS
Absolute collectors' gold! These awesomely awe-ful accessories, some bearing imitations of the James Bama art, were a prime mail-away promotion on Phoenix Candy Boxes.
A clean example of one of these rare beauties will set you back at least $500. In homage, Famous Monsters Magazine released their own versions in the early 2000's, but they were mere pale imitations.
1963 HASBRO MONSTER 3-RING BINDERS
Another 60s monster kid must-have, these would have been the absolute coolest place to store all your evil plans ... or your math homework.
These are still available, but unused examples are extremely difficult to find, and will easily run you over $300 - $500, depending on the subjest.
PENN PLAX CREATURE AQUARIUM FIGURE
This is, hands down, the Holy Grail of Creature collectables! Issued in the early 1970s, and re-issued again in 1999, this little gem is the perfect accent for every Monster Kid's fish tank! "He Moves!"

For Comic-Con 2020, action figure mavens Super 7 issued a special edition homage to the Penn Plax kit by placing their Creature REACTION figure in a box patterned after the original 1970 packaging. Super cool!

Here's a cute little trinket! It's a tiny terrifying totem in the likeness
of the classic Big Frankie kit!
They came in a rainbow of hues, but I think my fave is the sickly green one!
