ROMANIA- BUCHAREST
Hello! I WE ARE "BUTTERFLES" from the Fluturasi group, "Ciupercuta" kindergarten. We live in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. My city is big and busy with many tall buildings but also beautiful parks. We like to go to the Parks, where we feed the ducks and go boating on the lake. We have many places to play. Sometimes we get lost among the old buildings, which tell us stories about the past, like the Palace of the Parliament or the Romanian Athenaeum.
Romania is even better! In the summer we go to the mountains, to Brașov or Sinaia, where the air smells of fir, and in the winter I go sledding on the slopes. At the sea, in Constanța, the waves tickle my feet, and the sand is always warm. My grandmother lives in the country and makes the best cozonac. There the plains are endless and the sky is full of stars at night.
"Romania is like a rainbow - full of colors, different places and cheerful people". Although they are only children, they know that this is "home".
