Black Men Feed Denver

On January 4th we were able to unite 150 black men to feed over 500 people in the Denver community. Volunteers were able to make sandwiches, engage in a conversation about manhood and the violence in Montbello, and distribute sandwiches at shelters and parks. Often times Black Men are excluded from conversations about service and Black Men are often criticized for not being a part of the community. Through Black Men Feed Denver we were able to bring Black Men together to serve and fellowship while putting youth at the forefront of service.

The 10for10 SafeHouse

June 7, 2020

On the June 7th, 2020 we came together to help each other heal. We heard powerful poets, were left in awe by breathtaking singers, and become inspired. Thank you to everyone that has supported us and to those who believed in us!

The Colorado HBCU Panel

July 1, 2020

A zoom Facebook live Panel about the importance of Historically Black Colleges or University aka HBCUs. HBCU provide an amazing opportunity for students to learn about the culture and more about themselves. However not all students know about them. We want to highlight some students from Colorado current HBCU and allow them to share their experience.

The Fourth of July Rally

July 4, 2020

225 years later, African American, Women, Native Americans, LGBTX and our Latinx communities still do not enjoy the independence signed on July 4th, 2020. Join us for The Rise Up Rally as we rally against mass incarceration, detaining immigrants, the conditions on reservations and the marginalization of women.

The United Against I.C.E Rally

July 31

5-8pm

Through our united efforts, we came together as a community to rally against the oppressive immigration system. As youth members of 10For10, we came together to show solidarity to our immigrant communities living in inhumane conditions.

The Rise Up is a youth led rally demanding justice for our Black and Brown brothers and sisters killed by law enforcement.

On November 9th we were able to unite 160 black men to feed over 500 people in the community. Volunteers were able to make sandwiches, engage in a conversation about manhood and service, and distribute sandwiches at shelters and parks. Often times Black Men are excluded from conversations about service and Howard University is criticized for not being a part of the community. Through Black Men Feed DC we were able to bring Black Men together to serve while also putting Howard at the forefront.

Through this event, 10For10 was able to donate over 1,000 water bottles to the community!
