Accomplishments

Since our founding, 10For10 has:

  • Revolutionized the way young people organize in Denver, Colorado and in Washington, D.C.

  • United 300 Black men to have conversations about the need for Black male spaces and mentorship in our community.

  • Equipped our leaders with the skills, experience and network to go on to start their own non-profits and organizations in Denver, Colorado.

  • Served 1,500 meals and 1,000 water bottles between Washington, D.C. and Denver, Colorado to the less fortunate

  • Flew three young leaders from Denver to Washington D.C. for the 2020 March on Washington.

  • Spearheaded 10 city-wide events including protests, rallies, marches and vigils to put youth voices at the forefront of change.

  • Provided youth with the opportunity to speak, perform, learn and lead in front of hundreds of people which empowered their voices and allowed them to gain leadership confidence.

  • Received support from elected officials including State Senator James Coleman, Mayor Hancock, Police Chief Paul Pazen, Councilwoman Stacie Gilmore, Councilwoman Candi Cdebaca via event attendance.

  • Fundraised $20,000 from foundations, donations and partnerships in the past year.

  • Featured on Apple Music, CBS4, 9News, Fox31, 7News, DenverPost, The Montbello Urban Spectrum, Howard University's Breaking News Room. Learn more here.
