Heather has a broad interest in theatre, carnival arts and traditional custom, She is a drama expert a qualified teacher and has a degree in theatre studies from Rose Bruford College of Perfoming Arts. She has written various papers including on the role of the spectator as a performer and a piece for a recent academic text book on carnival arts about the success growth and development of Sussex Bonfire She is on the committee of Hastings Old Town Carnival, Hastings Week, Hastings Jack in the Green and Chair of Hastings Bonfire.
