Come and decorate the Green Lady while watching morris dancing, drummers and giants parade

March 24th is the spring equinox and 25th Lady Day.  The Spring equinox is the official start of spring and Lady Day the traditional start to the agricultural year. We will be celebrating both spring and Lady Day by erecting a ‘Green Lady’ and inviting the people of the town to help decorate her by bringing leaves and spring flowers to add to her and see her grow. All takes place in the Old Town from 4pm.

Much drumming, morris dancing and dancing giants will add colour noise and bring the festive vibe.
