Designing for learning (curriculum, pedagogy, assessment) in a Catholic school is designed as a collaborative online project. It aims to further develop teacher capacity in designing for learning that is unique to their school’s context, is evidence based and targeted and enriches our Catholic identity.
The project seeks:
School teams will follow their own line of inquiry around designing for learning, while working through online modules at their own pace.
The Designing for learning project is designed for teams from schools to enter at their own need. The site is designed with modules that sit under Essential, Assess, Learn, Design and Monitor. Under each you will find a core module and supporting modules. Teams can choose particular modules that suit their need or choose to follow an area of inquiry through the project.
If teams choose to focus their research by following an area of inquiry, they will follow the evidence inquiry cycle. Teams will start with the Essentials module and follow their way around the cycle completing the overarching module for each element followed by the optional modules of the school team's choice.
