The purpose of the Week of Respect is to teach students how to respect others, our school, our community, and ourselves, as well as how to prevent harassment, intimidation, and bullying situations.
Today, your goal is to give someone a sincere compliment. Challenge yourself to compliment someone you wouldn't normally speak to. Try to center your compliment on something other than physical appearance (i.e. - You're so thoughtful). Watch how it changes their mood instantly!
In acknowledgement of Week of Respect this year, VHS is having a Sock It to Bullying Sock Drive! Drop a brand new pair of socks in the drop box located outside of VHS. All the socks will be donated to a local homeless shelter.
Today, your goal is to acknowledge 3 things about yourself that you love and others love about you. Affirm them to yourself in the mirror!
Also - don't forget to donate to our Sock It To Bullying Sock Drive!
Today, your goal is to complete a random act of kindness for someone. Give something to someone without the thought of getting something back in return.
Today, your goal is to pledge against bullying!

Today, your goal is to wear BLUE in support of the World Day of Bullying Prevention. Take a photo of yourself wearing BLUE and post it on Instagram. Don't forget to tag your school counselor!
