VPAA Dance Strand Audition Workshop at Salem High School.

1993 Sundevil Drive. Virginia Beach, VA. 23464

This workshop is for students applying to the Visual & Performing Arts Academy in January of 2026. 

You must be in 8th or 9th grade and a Virginia Beach Resident to apply to the program. 

Saturday Dec. 6th 2025  9:30am - 12:00pm 

Workshop check in will begin at 9:15am - student pick up will be at 12pm 

***We have snacks for students, but please bring snacks if you have allergies.***

In this free workshop, students will be taking a dance class (ballet & modern), receiving information about audition requirements, and interacting with current VPAA Dance Strand students. Students should come ready to dance in comfortable clothing. Leotards, tights/leggings, and ballet shoes are preferred but not necessary.
