VPAA - KUDOS!!!

The VMEA Blue Ribbon Award is the highest award given to school music programs in the Commonwealth of Virginia and recognizes achievements in band, orchestra, and choral performance. All top eligible performing groups must receive a final Superior rating at VMEA District Concert Performance Assessment to qualify for this award. Congratulations Mr. Boone, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Pinto, and Mrs. German. Superiors across the board!!

VPAA Instrumental student Michael Cleaver returning from the Disney Dreamers Academy which is an annual educational mentoring program hosted at Walt Disney World Resort. Competition for the program is tough – only 100 outstanding students from across the country are invited to participate!

Congratulations to our very own Brickell Scholar Mirabelle Malone! The E. E. Brickell Scholars Program is designed to promote and recognize academic excellence among high school students in the Virginia Beach City Public Schools.
