Whether you're still on campus or looking forward to your return, Vassar and the surrounding community offer plenty of ways to stay active while enjoying the natural environment.
The Vassar Farm & Ecological Preserve still offers plenty opportunities to explore its many winding trails in self-guided walks. We've taken advantage of their trails, and you should too. You can find a map of their trails here - we're especially fond of the Collin's trail.
On campus, consider putting together a self-guided tour of the Arboretum. We've recently completed a map of all our tree specimens through Arborscope - check it out here, and plan your stroll accordingly.
If you're on or around campus and looking to get outside, there's never been a better time to go biking!
If you don't have a bike, the Vassar Bike Shop has some available for loan. You can reserve one here. Of course, if don't forget to comply with all relevant regulations from Safety & Security and Residential Life.
If you're around the Hudson Valley, there are a number of great places to bike. Bike Hudson Valley has a wide array of bike maps of the area for inspiration. We're especially partial to the Rail Trail, which connects near to campus.
