Earth Month may be over, but our sustainability efforts are ever ongoing. Vassar is finalizing its next Climate Action Plan, outlining the next five years of sustainability efforts on campus. Whether physically on campus or supporting it from a distance, we're committed to our goal of carbon neutrality by 2030.
Moving from an institutional to the individual focus, Earthday.org has assembled a list of ways to maintain the Earth Month momentum all year long. From simple, everyday actions to joining larger global movements, there are dozens of ways for you to make a difference.
Another way to stay connected is to enroll in our forthcoming Sustainability @ Vassar Reading Group. Each month we'll be reviewing articles, case studies, and examples from Vassar of various principles of sustainability in action. You can sign up here, and will receive more details later in May with next steps.
Finally, the best way to keep up to date on ways to be a part of Vassar's sustainability efforts is to follow us on Twitter @sustain_VC. As opportunities arise, we'll be sharing them first there.
