Administration Message
As we begin another week, we want to thank you for the energy and professionalism you bring to your classrooms each day. Your dedication to students and your willingness to grow together as a team are what continue to move our campus forward. Your commitment to high expectations and strong instruction is noticed and appreciated.
This week, our PLCs focus will center around Expectations, Procedures, Structures, Acknowledgments, Interactions, and Corrections using the Classroom Observation Learning Tool. These conversations are grounded in our Learning Walks and designed to help us learn from one another, identify best practices, and build a shared understanding of what strong classroom management and student engagement look like in action.
✅ Learning Walks will continue this week, thank you to our 6th–8th grade math team for setting a strong example and leading the way!
✅ Be sure to reflect on your classroom systems as we work together to create consistent, effective learning environments across the campus.
✅ Continue progress monitoring for students receiving supports this is key as we align instruction to student needs.
Thank you for being such a collaborative and committed team. Let’s keep the momentum going and support each other as we grow.
Weekly Events
Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
We’re excited to share that this week marked the successful kickoff of our Learning Walks with our 6th to 8th grade math teachers, who are the first group to participate in this new initiative. These walks are designed as collaborative opportunities, not evaluations, to learn from each other, celebrate effective teaching practices, and grow together as a professional learning community.
During these initial Learning Walks, we focused on key areas such as Expectations, Procedures, Structures, Acknowledgments, Interactions, and Corrections using the Classroom Observation Learning Tool. The insights gathered are already helping us build a shared understanding of what great teaching looks like in action.
Thank you to our 6th-8th grade math teachers for leading the way with enthusiasm and openness. We look forward to expanding this process to other departments as we continue our shared journey toward excellence for every student!
