Announcements

Our ACE program brought a second place victory in the Esports tournament. We thank our ACE coordinator Mrs. Martinez and teachers for allowing our students to have a variety of opportunities to succeed inside and oustide the classroom

Congratulations to our Wrestling Coach and Gladiator Wrestlers on an incredible showing at District—especially in our first year of wrestling!

A huge shoutout to Nia Rocha for earning 1st Place, and to our Girls’ Team for finishing 2nd overall. Our Boys’ Team also made us proud with a Top 10 overall finish.

Individual district placers include:

JV District Champions: Ozzy Sanchez, Yarelih Vera

Earning 1st Chair in the TMEA All-State Symphony Orchestra is an extraordinary honor, and being the first ever in Vanguard history makes it even more special. We are so proud of your dedication, talent, and hard work, thank you for setting the bar high and representing Vanguard with excellence!

Congratulations to our Orchestra Teachers and Students on an outstanding performance at the UIL Solo & Ensemble Competition in La Joya!

Earning 25 Division I medals and an incredible 12 State Qualifiers is no small feat. This achievement reflects the talent, dedication, and countless hours of preparation by our students, as well as the passion and commitment of our orchestra teachers.

A special congratulations to Jillian Rodriguez for earning 2nd Place in Traffic Stop, and to Sarah Castelan, Catherine Lavin, Caleen Arispe, and Jillian Rodriguez for placing 3rd in Felony Traffic Stop.
