The Vancouver Firefighters CPR + First-aid Program was established in 1997 to provide life-saving CPR training to the public as a joint project between Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services and the International Association of Firefighters Union Local 18.
In 2017 our program was expanded to include other Fire Department Training Partners.
These Training partners teach Vancouver Firefighter CPR + First Aid Programs.
To become Vancouver Firefighters CPR + First Aid Training Partners;
Upon Completion of our Instructor Development Program, Training Partners will be added to our Registry, and available for Program Requests.
Training Partners will be given access to our Training Programs, and a Google Based Scheduling System

Training Partners will need to go through an Quality Assurance / Approval process to become Authorized Training Partners. The Training Partner request will be managed in Stages (Contact, Training, Approved, Cancelled)

When Training Partner agrees to Process, Program Standards, Code of Conduct, and Quality Assurance they will be granted access to the Instructor Training Program (Manuals, Presentations), and Student Training programs (manuals, lesson plans, etc). Granting access will ensure that the material is always current. Training Partner will facilitate training to their instructors.
When training is complete the Training Partner will be approved. This will activate the Training Partner in the Program Request system. Program Requests will be sent to Training Partner, and Training Partner can authorize and approve their requests
If Training Partner voids agreement, they will be cancelled and removed as a Training Partner in the system. Access to all material will be revoked
