The Vancouver Firefighters CPR + First-aid Program was established in 1997 to provide life-saving CPR training to the public as a joint project between Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services and the International Association of Firefighters Union Local 18.
It is managed and run entirely by professional firefighters during their off-duty hours.

We exist to increase cardiovascular awareness to the public, to increase bystander CPR and medical emergency survival rates through CPR and First Aid training.

For our Logo, the bottom of the flame forms a "V" for Vancouver. The whitespace in the flame forms a "F" for Firefighters.
The Heart is for CPR, and the Cross is for First Aid.
