STEAM is the interdisciplinary application of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math to practice collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity in problem solving projects.

I-STEAM - Introduction to STEAM (6th grade)

  • Introduction to computer basics and keyboarding
  • Required at Sage Valley Middle School for all 6th grade students
  • Prerequisite class or equivalent typing skill for STEAM classes

STEAM -- Introduction to Computer Science (8th Grade)

  • Introduction to computer programming, applications, and hardware maintenance.
  • Introduction to web development and design.
  • Team project based learning.
