Chief Navy Counselor (Surface Warfare) Jeremy Fuller, USN (Ret.)
Chief Jeremy Fuller is a native of Eunice, New Mexico, and graduated from Eunice High School in 1997. He enlisted in the United States Navy in January 2002 and completed Master-at-Arms “A” School at Kings Bay, Georgia. His first duty station was Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, California, where he served from July 2002 to July 2005.
In August 2005, Chief Fuller reported to Commander Fleet Activities Okinawa, Japan, where he provided security operations support until August 2007. He then transferred to Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada, serving from September 2007 through September 2011 in critical security and force protection roles.
Following this tour, he was selected for conversion to Navy Counselor and attended Navy Counselor “C” School in Norfolk, Virginia. Upon completion, he reported aboard USS Kauffman (FFG-59) as the Command Career Counselor in November 2011. While aboard, he earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification and was selected as Sailor of the Year for both USS Kauffman and Destroyer Squadron staff. He remained at this command until August 2015.
In September 2015, Chief Fuller reported to Navy Counselor “C” School as an instructor, where he shaped and mentored the next generation of career counselors. During this tour, he was selected for promotion to Chief Petty Officer and was pinned on September 16, 2016. He also earned his Master Training Specialist qualification.
His final tour of duty was with VAQ-132, Whidbey Island, Washington, where he served as the Command Career Counselor from March 2019 until his retirement in January 2022, culminating 20 years of faithful and honorable service.
Chief Fuller’s personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), as well as multiple unit and campaign awards. He is qualified as an Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and Master Training Specialist.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Homeland Security from American Military University.
