🔌 Plug it in daily – Keep the cart plugged in whenever possible so devices are fully charged for the next class.
📶 Check connections – Make sure each Chromebook is plugged securely into its charging cable inside the cart.
🧹 Keep it tidy – Arrange cords neatly and avoid forcing Chromebooks into slots, which can damage devices or ports.
🚪 Lock it up – Always lock the cart when it’s not in use to keep devices safe.
🚫 Avoid overloading outlets – Plug the cart into its own wall outlet rather than using power strips or daisy-chaining multiple carts.
📝 Report issues quickly – If a Chromebook isn’t charging or a cord is damaged, let the Technology Department know right away.
Each Chromebook cart is carefully set up by the Technology Department to be clean, organized, and fully functional before it arrives in your classroom. Our goal is to make sure it’s easy to manage and ready for daily use.
That said, we understand that with regular student use, charging cords can sometimes become tangled or pulled out of place. When that happens, it can create frustration and disrupt the flow of your day.
While the Tech Department is happy to help troubleshoot more serious issues, the general upkeep of the cart—including keeping cords tidy and in place—is the responsibility of the classroom it serves. If cords become tangled or disconnected, we encourage you to check out the links below for some helpful troubleshooting tips.
