Use your VUSD District Credentials to access the Tech Help page.
Example: If your credentials are “JohnD@vacavilleusd.org” your username is: JohnD and your password is whatever you use to access District computers, Email, Aeries, etc.
When you are putting in a tech request, the more information you give us, the more it will help us find you a solution, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
When you choose a location, that will automatically send it to the appropriate Technology Rotation.
Example: if you select Callison Elementary, it will send your tech request to the ESC Technology Rotation as Callison is a school site that is part of ESC rotation's responsibility.
This will help us determine what kind of help you need
If it's a computer issue, please tell us if it's an issue with a Chromebook, or Hardware such as a printer, mouse, monitor, or your own PC. Choose Software if you have a software related issue. This will help us determine who will be best fit to assist you.
This goes without saying, but please specify where you need assistance. We need the school site name and room number to tell us where we're going. Which school you choose automatically selects the Technology Rotation that will be assisting you.
The more information you provide in your tech request, the better prepared we’ll be to assist you.
In the example shown, the requester noted a screen issue on a specific Chromebook and included the device number. This level of detail is extremely helpful—it lets us know what tools to bring and may even allow us to complete the repair on the spot.
Additionally, letting us know where the device is located (e.g., left on top of the Chromebook cart) eliminates guesswork and helps us respond more efficiently.
In the example provided, the teacher indicated they were comfortable with us visiting their classroom at any time—which is extremely helpful and allows us to provide support more quickly.
If you have a preferred time for a visit, please include it in the “Best Time to Visit” field.
Here are a few examples of what you might enter:
"8:30 AM – 10:00 AM"
"After school"
"Anytime after 2:00 PM"
Any username or password entered in the Tech Help Request Form is only visible to Technology Specialists—no other staff have access to this information.
While entering a phone number is optional, the form requires that you enter something in that field in order to proceed. Feel free to enter a placeholder (e.g., "N/A") if you prefer not to include a number.
