University and Career Counseling

Welcome

This website has been built as a database where UWC East Africa students and families can find answers to most of their questions regarding the university and college process, regardless of where they hope to matriculate.

Additionally, there is a lot of advice and background information here to help you understand the application process in various countries. Unfortunately, it is very different depending on where you apply.

We hope this site will help to provide you with enough of an overview that you feel empowered when making decisions about your next steps for your post-secondary career.

Let's take a virtual tour of this website

Davis United World College Program

Shelby M.C. Davis funds the Davis United World College Scholars Program. This programme works cooperatively with nearly 100 colleges and universities in the United States to help fund diversity on their campuses. Partner institutions that admit UWC scholars promise to meet 100% of demonstrated needs. The Shelby Davis Fund provides incentive grants to those schools in order to encourage greater inclusion of socio-economic and cultural diversity.

Please visit their site for further information: https://www.davisuwcscholars.org/

Please note: The Shelby Davis money is a grant given to the universities, not to the students. It is not a scholarship for you.

UWC Network Wide Information

Please reference the Global Learning Series hosted by different UWC schools. Together with the Davis partners, we are trying to provide workshops which answer your questions about all aspects of post secondary life.
