Occupational Therapy (OT) helps people participate in the activities that matter most to them — from self-care and work, to leisure and community life. It focuses on building or restoring skills, adapting environments, and promoting independence across the lifespan.
At our centre, OT services are delivered by student occupational therapists under professional supervision. This provides a dynamic and collaborative space to support your goals with up-to-date, person-centered approaches.
Our student occupational therapists can work with individuals managing:
Developmental delays or learning difficulties in children such as children with Autism, ADHD and Down Syndrome.
Difficulties with daily tasks (e.g. dressing, cooking, self-care)
Neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, Parkinson’s, MS)
Mental health concerns affecting daily function
Services may vary depending on the students’ current placement focus.
Our OT services are tailored to help you build confidence and independence in meaningful activities. Supports may include:
Functional assessments and goal setting
Strategies to improve daily living skills (e.g. routines, energy conservation)
Home or workplace modification advice
Sensory-based activities and interventions
Mental wellness and coping strategies
Fine motor skill development
All services are carried out by OT students under the supervision of qualified occupational therapists. Students may work in pairs or individually depending on their level of training, and care plans are developed collaboratively with oversight to ensure client safety, ethical practice, and best-practice care.
