After doing usablity tests with other desgin teams, we realized much needed to be changed. These were the high fidelity protypes we finalized. Starting with our Student pages:
The First page will be where students begin creating an account or signing in to access the TutorMatch platform and start the tutoring process.
Users choose whether to sign up as a student or a tutor, enabling the platform to provide a personalized experience based on their role. Users can later change experiences in settings.
Students enter their subjects, learning preferences, and availability. This information helps generate personalized tutor recommendations for the AI.
The platform uses AI-assisted matching to recommend tutors based on the student's academic needs, learning style, reason for support, and schedule preferences.
If a tutor isn't available at the moment, a student has the option to use an AI study companion to help guide their learning! This AI will not give direct answers, allowing students to maintain their learning and critical thinking. This AI is not an alternative to a real Tutor.
Students can view tutor qualifications, ratings, expertise, and availability before selecting and booking a tutoring session.
Connects the tutor live with the student to go over subject! Tutor gives individualized support to student based on the preference style the student chose. AI takes notes of the session, what to work on and what was covered overall.
After the session, the platform provides an AI-generated summary from the session and personalized recommendations to help students review key concepts and track their progress.
