RESEARCH TECHNICIAN
I am a technician in the Bandyra RNA & Structural Biology Group, where I support research into the structure and function of proteins using structural biology techniques. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Techno India University, India, and completed my Master’s degree in Biotechnology at the Warsaw University of Technology in 2024.
I completed my Master’s thesis project at the Institute of Biophysics and Biochemistry (IBB), working under the supervision of Dr. Roza Kucharcyzk. My research focused on understanding the regulation of cell death and oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) activity in Saccharomyces cerevisiae through the enzyme ampylase FMP40, providing me with experience in genetic manipulation, cell biology, and biochemical assays.
Currently, I work under the guidance of Dr. Katarzyna Bandyra, where I manage laboratory instrumentation, support experimental procedures, and contribute to the lab’s efficiency. Looking ahead, I am focused on expanding my expertise in structural biology techniques like cryo-EM and further developing my skills in protein structure analysis to drive impactful research within our team.
