Our group thrives on collaboration and curiosity. Whether you’re a prospective student, postdoc, or an established scientist, we invite you to connect with us. Together, let’s explore the fascinating world of protein and RNA structural biology!
OPEN POSITIONS
1 PhD student - the call will be reopened in Spring 2026
We are open to hosting independently funded researchers who wish to develop a collaborative research program aligned with our core interests: structural biology, RNA metabolism, and mitochondrial biology. Our lab has prior experience supporting independent research fellows and offers a stimulating and collaborative environment.
We welcome applicants interested in securing external funding with our group as the host lab. Opportunities include:
National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA): Offers a range of funding schemes for researchers at all stages—from students to experienced scientists.
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA): A prestigious EU-funded program; the annual application deadline typically falls in mid-September.
EMBO Fellowships: Support for postdoctoral researchers in the life sciences; applications are accepted year-round.
Prospective PhD students may apply for 4-year funding through the University of Warsaw Doctoral School. If you're considering this route, please contact us in advance so we can register a research project for the call.
Thesis
Our laboratory offers Bachelor’s and Master’s students the opportunity to conduct their thesis projects in a dynamic and supportive research environment. Students can engage in ongoing research projects or develop an individual thesis topic aligned with the scientific interests of the lab.
We welcome motivated students who are interested in gaining practical research experience and contributing to high-quality scientific work.
