These instructions are for when you first log-in
Click on the Teams logo in your menu bar. If the logo is not there, visit teams.microsoft.com on a browser
When the log-in screen appears, log-in with your UVU email address in this format, "uvid@uvu.edu". Click "Sign In"
Your password is your UVU password. The system may also ask you to Duo authenticate.
After logging-in, you should see a menu bar on the left. The teams and chats you are a part of will be listed by clicking here.

Ensure you have received an invitation to the team calendar from Karli or another Admissions Counselor. If you haven't received it, please contact them to gain access.
Open Microsoft Outlook or the Microsoft 365 Calendar app.
Find the "Group" dropdown on the left side of the screen and click on "Shared Calendars."
If you don't see the "Shared Calendars" section, click on the dropdown arrow to expand the view.
Select the circle next to the team calendar.
The team calendar will now be visible, allowing you to see when the van has been reserved or reserve the van for yourself.
To make it easier to view the events on the team calendar, you can deselect all other calendars if needed.
To add a new event to the team calendar, follow these steps:
Open the team calendar in Microsoft Outlook or the Microsoft 365 Calendar app.
Navigate to the date and time when you want to schedule the event. You can use the calendar view to select the specific day and time slot.
Click on the desired date calendar where you want to create the event. This will open a new event creation window.
In the event creation window, enter the details of the event, including:
Subject/Title: Provide a brief description or title for the event.
Location: Specify the physical or virtual location of the event.
Start and End Time: Set the start and end date and time for the event.
Please only schedule the van for the time period you will need it.
Time Zone: Select the appropriate time zone for the event.
This should default to Mountain Time, but be sure to double check.
Recurrence: If the event repeats on a regular schedule, choose the recurrence pattern (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
Description: Add any additional information or notes related to the event.
Customize any other desired settings or options, such as categorizing the event, inviting attendees, etc.
Once you have entered all the necessary details, click the "Save" or "Create" button to save the event. The event will now be added to the team calendar for everyone to see.
If you need to make any changes or updates to your reservation later, you can double-click on it in calendar view to open the event details and edit them as needed.
The team calendar is used by Karli and other team members to know when you will be in and out of office. Please be sure to add upcoming events to the calendar to communicate with the team.
Events for work
Any work event that will require you to be out of office. This includes, but is not limited to:
High School Visits, Counselor Visits, UHED, Transfer Events, Outreach Events, Travel to events, etc.
Travel to events should be calculated in the event time total.
Time off
Any time you are taking for personal, sick leave, or time off. This includes, but is not limited to:
Vacation time, planned personal time, extended time out of the office, comp time, etc.
You do not need to specify what the event is, but a simple "Out of Office" should be listed.
Team Events, Meetings, and Trainings
Any event, meeting, and training that involves multiple members of the team should be added. This includes, but is not limited to:
Traditional AC team meetings, Outreach Team meetings, Presidential Scholarship Banquet, Summer Trainings, Team Retreats, etc.
