The UVU Ambassadors are a group of UVU students who are on scholarship to help with on campus events and recruiting students to the university.
We exist to serve as highly-trained and knowledgeable representatives for the university when working with prospective UVU students, families, high school counselors, and the community. Ambassadors seek to help individuals understand their potential through education and to correct misconceptions about the institution so that UVU can fulfill its quest to become the best open admissions platform in the country.
Click this link and fill out the form to request to have an ambassador attend an off-campus event with you: https://uvu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0qfRbrCKjZPBknY
Ambassadors should be utilized for events and visits that are focused on student-to-student interactions. Some great examples of these would include:
Back To School Nights
What's Next Days
Decision Days
Career Fair Nights
Keep in mind:
Ambassadors should be used to enrich a visit not a replacement to Admissions Counselors.
Ambassadors will be assigned to you based on a person's availability.
All requests need to be placed at least 2 weeks in advance of the event ambassadors are needed for.
Any request made with less than 2 weeks' notice may not be approved as we won't be able to coordinate with ambassadors in a timely manner.
Please allow at least 5 business days for us to respond to Ambassador Requests.
Dear Ambassador,
Thank you for being willing to attend (Insert event name) event with me! (Go over the details of the event and where they should meet you).
We firmly believe that UVU is one of the greatest options for students everywhere, which is why we do what we do. You play a vital role in this work, and connect with students in a way that only other students can. This is where we need you! With this responsibility comes the freedom to get creative and really try to make an impact on how these (insert school mascot of HS) see us Wolverines. Think about who you have become by attending UVU, think about the opportunities and amazing experiences you have had while going here, we want to share those with (insert audience)!
