Bookings allows students/ prospective students schedule an appoint with you.
Go to https://365-uvu-edu.access.mcas.ms/aad_login
Click "Create", name the new booking page, and change the business hours to 9:30-5:00

On step 4, change who can book appointments to "Anyone"
Once the new page loads, click "get started"
On the left hand side, click "Business Information"
Make sure under "Basic details" that your email address is accurate
In "Business Hours", you can change availability based off of reoccurring meetings to ensure that you are not double booked during weekly meetings.
Go to "Services"
Edit service or create a new service
Rename to "Student Appointment: Phone Call"
Change the description
EX. Chat with me about your questions about Utah Valley University! If you are trying to have an academic hold removed or register for classes contact your Academic Advisor uvu.edu/firstyear/advising/
Change duration to 15 minutes
Add 15 minute buffer time (this gives you time in case the meeting doesn't start or end exactly on time)
Change price to free
Save Changes then click "Availability Options"
If you would like, you can change the minimum lead time to 48 hours, but it is nice to leave it at 24 hours for students who work best at the last minute 😉
Change the maximum lead time to 14 days
Save Changes then go to "Assign Staff"
Turn off the ability to select staff and click on yourself as the assigned staff
Save changes and go to "Custom Fields"
Require Customer email, phone number, and notes.
Save changes and click "Notifications"
Turn on Email notifications when booking is created or changed (if wanted)
Turn on "Send a meeting invite to the customer, in addition to the confirmation email."
Add additional information

Repeat this Process if you would like to give students the option for a video appointment, in-person appointment. (Be sure to add additional information in the email confirmation like office location or how to access the video call)
Go to "Booking Page"
Click "Default Scheduling Policy" and be sure that "General Availability" is set to "Bookable when staff are free"
Under "Customize Page" click "Set custom color" and use "#275d38"
Then go to "Region and time zone" and click "Always show time slots in business time zone"
Save all changes, go to the page and make sure everything looks good, then copy the link that is listed under "Your Booking Page"
Now, go to your employee profile on myUVU by logging on to myUVU and clicking on your profile picture. Paste the link and then save changes. (For more details about this process, scroll to "Updating your Employee Profile" on this page!)

Update your photo with a professional photo of yourself
Make sure your Preferred Professional Title is "Admissions Counselor"
Make sure your campus location and contacts are correct. Our office is Losee Center 408.
Include the link to your appointments site in the "Appointments URL" box
Include some brief information in your bio section.
