Campus Tours are opportunities for prospective students (and their guest(s)) to get an in-depth look at the ins and outs of UVU campus. Tours are hosted by Ambassadors and last about an hour and 15 minutes. All Campus Tours are given by Ambassadors or Ambassador Managers and are scheduled/coordinated by the Campus Tour Coordinator.
Tours are offered Monday-Friday at 10 am & 3 pm, Wednesdays at 6 pm, with an additional Spanish tour the first Wednesday of each month at 6pm as well (excluding summer months).
These begin with a 15-20-minute presentation outlining admissions and other general UVU information.
These tours are given by the 8 Ambassador Managers.
Prospective students on these tours receive print-outs of their preferred area of study, a view book, and an exclusive UVU sweatshirt bag.
Individual students can register for these events (uvu.edu/admissions/visit)
Group Tours are privately scheduled tours often scheduled with specific school groups or other organizations and are given between 9 am and 5 pm.
The Campus Visit Coordinators are responsible for all logistics of all campus tours.
These tours are given by all Ambassadors.
The general pick-up location for these tours is parking lot M20 (located just outside of the office (LC 408)). The tour can finish in any area of campus according to the specifications from the group.
These tours generally don’t receive swag nor the starting presentation due to the high number of attendees and scheduling purposes.
These tours must be scheduled at least 2 weeks before the requested tour date in order to provide sufficient time to organize the tour guides. There are little to no exceptions.
These tours are given to VIP’s of UVU including, but not limited to various job candidates, special families, donors, etc.
Most VIP tours run under an hour, depending on the time frame of the VIP.
Start and finish in various locations around campus depending on the schedule of the VIP.
Depending on the tour guest, some may require swag. Some of the swag may include a viewbook, printed information on a program, sweatshirt bag, pen, lanyard, and pennant given in a UVU plastic white bag.
If there any additional questions about campus tours please reach out to the Campus Visit Coordinator, Sarah McKeon.
