Sample Language:
EXAMPLE 1:
A: Hey, Daniels. How was work yesterday?
B: Busy! I responded to some emails in the morning. I had lunch at noon with my boss. Later, I received some requirements from my supervisor. I was in a rush with them to have everything ready. I had to install new apps in two machines from our department. After, I had a coffee break and I attended a meeting to deliver a report I made about the machines I worked with and finally, I printed some documents for tomorrow.
A: How about you?
B: Not much. I didn’t go to the office yesterday. I was on a business trip to New York last week, but I made a conference video call with the staff to give some job guidelines about the Corp policies like secure password usage, credential usage and behavior policies at work.
A: Oh, that’s better. The city is sometimes busy all day long!
EXAMPLE 2:
What did you do yesterday?
9am: I came in, checked emails, arranged short, medium and long-term to-do lists, and organized meetings
10am: I had Standup meeting, coordinated the day and organized collaboration (if any) Then it was into project work: Later, I carried out coding, problem-solving and development. At various points you asked for advice (or gave advice). Depending on the moment, I chatted or sent a message via Slack or IRC (a form of chat popular among software devs). Some members of my team were free, so we went to a whiteboard together or sat together, and then diagramed and worked out a solution.
1pm: After I found a solution, I created a “change request” or “pull request” summarizing changes proposed, which someone else would review. They could have ideas or solutions of their own.
