Operations

Overview

The Operations group carries out the day-to-day functions of the Utah Department of Transportation required to keep the transportation system operating smoothly and safely. The responsibilities include statewide aeronautics operations; equipment purchase, repair, and management; traffic management and information systems; improving highway safety and traffic control; and oversight and management of motor carrier operations.
