Overview

The Internal Audit Division ensures that UDOT manages the Department’s resources efficiently and appropriately. This team serves as an independent voice providing accountability to Utah’s taxpayers. The Internal Audit Division is responsible for:

• Examining claims of fraud, waste or misuse of public funds, property or manpower

• Investigating violations of a law, rule or regulation

• Determining gross mismanagement of assets or resources

• Probing into abuse of authority

• Addressing inappropriate or unethical conduct
