The purpose of the Master of Music in Music Education hybrid/online degree is to provide music educators with advanced academic and professional skills for the classroom, enhancing their ability to apply music education methods, theory, and research in the field.

Program Admissions
Bachelor’s degree in music from accredited institution
Minimum 2.75 cumulative undergraduate grade point average
Two letters of recommendation from professional and/or academic references
Interview with music faculty
Please note, a state teaching license is not required for admission; however, this program does not lead to initial licensure.
