As a child, I never really dreamed of becoming an architect. I do remember dreaming of one day becoming a pilot and traveling the world. It wasn’t until my early adolescence that I realized that I had some skill in drawing. It was then when it dawned on me that I could become an architect like my Father. I didn’t really like to draw that much because I wasn’t really good at it, but as time passed and as my skill improved I realized that someday I might become just as good as my Father or be somehow close to him in skill. In the end, I decided to choose Architecture as my university degree because I want to help my father run his business. Now that I am officially following in his footsteps, I want to continue my Father’s dream of one day building an iconic building or landmark here in the Philippines.
