Graduated in Physical Education from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (1990), Specialization in Gymnastics from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (1992), Specialization in Sports Science from the ABC Region University of Education and Culture (1993), Master of Science in Motricity from São Paulo State University (1996), Doctorate in Physical Education from Universidade de São Paulo (2001), Habilitation (Professorship) at Universidade de São Paulo (2007) and Post-Doctoral from Queensland University of Technology, Australia (2011). Currently Full Professor and Associate Dean of the School of Physical Education and Sport at the University of São Paulo, and Director of the Graduate Committee.
Research Interests: motor learning (adaptive process, practice, feedback, instruction, tips, coincident timing, task specificity, motor skill and context, motor skill and hierarchy) and physical education and sport pedagogy (teaching-training methods, game analysis).
