Motor response organization and the acquisition of motor skills

Encompasses projects that aim to study the mechanisms and processes underlying the preparation and execution of motor responses. Furthermore, projects in this line investigate the process of acquisition of motor skills, with regard to its mechanisms and the factors that affect their learning.

Analysis and diagnosis of the motor development

Projects in this research line investigate the acquisition of fundamental movement patterns and their functionality in children. Other topics of interest are the environmental and task factors that affect the development process, as well as the design of instruments for diagnosing the state of development relative to other groups throughout life.
