Does anyone know the symbolism behind the Wolf and Kettle Sculpture and how it connects to generosity?

"... in the Basque country of Spain, there lived a prosperous and generous family who, after feeding families and soldiers, had enough left over for the wolves. The image of two wolves eating at a cauldron became the symbol of the family’s generosity...."

To honor Hal's generous spirit to USF and the community, we chose to start the walk at the Wolf and Kettle Sculpture!
