U.S. Service Academy

The U.S. military operates the U.S. Service Academies (colleges) that train future military leaders. The goal of each Academy is to provide a free, world-class education within the context of the Honor Code, which is essential in developing character and leadership skills. This is a highly competitive application process. An appointment provides the opportunity for an excellent education and a 5-year commitment to serve as an officer in one of the following: Air Force, Army, Navy, Merchant Marine.
