Job Corps offers career technical training, education and professional skills. Job Corps will work with you from your first day in the program to the moment you start your new job. Job Corps, which is funded by the federal government and is free to participants, helps low-income young men and women ages 16 through 24 complete high school and/or train for a career. Registered apprenticeship is paid full-time employment and formal employee training. It combines supervised, structured on-the-job learning and related technical instruction. Apprentices usually start at 50% of the skilled worker wage, and as knowledge & skills increase, so does the wage until skilled worker status is attained.
