The Boy's wrestling team was created in 1961 under the leadership of B. Bierman, and has been a staple of the Seaman Athletics program since. Known as the "Mat Men" in their early years, they started with 24 members and took second place in their very first tournament.The team continued in leagues and had succesful runs over the years. It sadly stayed as a Men's only sport for most of its history, only creating a Girl's team in 2021.
