Formation
The Seaman Golf Team was formed in the 1962 School Year under Frank Colaw and Dave Shirk. They played and won against teams such as Hayden, Atchison, and the Wamego Men's Golf Team, And took home third in the State Sand Greens Tourney. This original success and all after it would lead to the team's expansion and sustainance over the future years.

This is a various collections of items from Seaman Golfing history. First is a picture of the Varsity girls golfing team. Next, there is a letterman patch for those who lettered in golf. Finally, there is a golf ball used in one of our official tournaments.
History
Created in 1962, the Mens Golf team was very promising and the team's prowess bode well for the school. Taking third in their first ever year of professional golf, they instantly got a spot in Seaman's sports teams. In 1988, the team became a Co-ed, with girls and boy being able to join. This was later further expanded on with the addition of the Girls Golf team in 1995, being a fall sport and the Men's being a spring sport. In recents, the team has returned many victories and is a very prominent and respected team in the golf circle.
