Experience a glimpse into a career with Ag Partners Cooperative. Students will be given the opportunity to explore career paths and job duties of what could be their future career. Ag Partners would like to provide students with the chance to observe firsthand how their career interests may align with the opportunities we have.
Open to high school and college students
Opportunities are endless. Students can shadow for 1 day or multiple days, 1 hour or 4 hours. We are flexible and willing to work around their interests.

USD 113 Prairie Hills Education Association
Student Teacher Grant Application
To be eligible to receive a USD 113 Prairie Hills Education Association (PHEA) Grant, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
1. The applicant must be enrolled as a full time student in good standing at an accredited college or university.
2. At the time of submission of the application, the applicant must be enrolled in an accredited teacher education program at a university or college.
3. The applicant must be actively participating in the college or university teacher practicum at a public elementary, middle, or secondary school under the supervision of a certified classroom teacher.
4. The applicant must have graduated from the old USD 441 Sabetha or Wetmore high schools or have graduated from the consolidated USD 113 Axtell, Bern, Sabetha or Wetmore high schools.
DUE AUGUST 15 (for S1 student teachers) OR DECEMBER 15 (for S2 student teachers)
23-24 Online Applications:
Ag Partners Cooperative Scholarship Program (online application open October 2-March 1) 2324
Ag Partners will offer five $1,000 scholarships to qualifying high school seniors who submit a completed online application. Applicants will be notified by April 2024 once the scholarship committee has determined awardees. Scholarships will be mailed directly to the school that is being attended on behalf of each recipient.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be a child or grandchild of a current Ag Partners member-owner or employee.
Be a high school senior, graduating in spring 2024.
Enrolled at a post-secondary institution immediately following high school graduation.
Demonstrate leadership abilities, academic performance, and desire to further their education and career in an agricultural-related field.
Submit one photo suitable for the newspaper to be used upon selection as an awardee.
Complete the application online.
Ag Partners Scholarship Program + Kansas City Royals (online application due April 1)
Ag Partners is the official ag cooperative of the Kansas City Royals! We have partnered with the Royals to bring another scholarship opportunity to the youth in the agriculture industry. There are two categories’ students can apply for: Agriculture Marketing and Agriculture Education. Each category will have three winners: First Place will receive $4,000, Second & Third Place will each receive $500.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be a high school senior, graduating in Spring 2024 OR a student currently attending a post-secondary institution.
Attend an educational institution in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Arkansas.
Enrolled in a post-secondary institution for the Fall 2024 semester.
Submit one photo suitable for promotional use upon selection as an awardee.
Selection & Recognition:
Each category will have three winners: First Place will receive $4,000, Second & Third Place will each receive $500.
All scholarship winners will receive a certificate of achievement upon selection.
First place winners in both categories will receive their certificate directly from a representative of the scholarship program.
All winners will be recognized by Ag Partners Cooperative, Inc. and the Kansas City Royals throughout the year through various platforms, including print, digital and broadcast mediums.
All winners will be invited to an on-field experience at Kauffman Stadium during the 2024 season.

Qualifications for BVT Scholarships:
Parent or legal guardian must be subscribed to a BVT service(s).
Student's primary residence must be within the BVT service area.
Children of BVT employees or directors are not eligible.
Student must have a passing grade in each class.

Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program (online application due September 15) 2324
In order to qualify for or win any of the scholarships offered by Distinguished Young Women, you must participate in a program for your local area. This could include attending a rehearsal(s) and being a part of an on-stage performance (dependent on Covid-19 guidelines in your area).
Participants must compete in all of these categories: Scholastics (25%), Interview (25%), Talent (20%), Fitness (15%) and Self-Expression (15%).

Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Context (online application open August 1-November 13) 2324
Current high school seniors, or the equivalent, who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply.
Applicants do not need to be related to a member of the Elks.
High school graduates are not eligible to apply.
Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are submitted; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.

Elks National Foundation Legacy Awards (online application open September 1-February 5) 2324
For the 2024 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2021, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2021, is eligible to apply. The Elk must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2024. Great-grandchildren are not eligible.
The applicant must be a high school senior.
The applicant must apply online only. The 2024 Legacy Awards application deadline is February 5, 2024, 11:59 a.m. Pacific Time.
If the applicant's parent and grandparent are both Elk members, the applicant must apply through the parent's Elks Lodge.
We have waived the standardized test requirement for the 2024 Legacy contest. You do not need to submit ACT and/or SAT scores.
Students may apply for more than one ENF scholarship; however, they may win only one. In cases where the student wins more than one, we will award the scholarship with the greater value. Students can accept local and state scholarships, which are separate from the awards at the national level.
Legacy Awards may only be applied to accredited US American schools, colleges or universities. (Note: Applicants from Guam, Panama, Puerto Rico and the Philippines may apply Legacy Awards toward schools, colleges or universities in their respective homes.)
If you are selected as a 2024 Legacy Awards recipient, you will be required to perform three instances of service with an Elks Lodge during the four years you are receiving the scholarship. Click here for more information about serving with the Elks.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation (online application open September 1-December 1; January 15-March 1) 2324

Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a Permanent Resident Card (Green Card).
Must attend a high school located in the United States. Can be a public, private, charter, magnet, or STEM school.
Must be in the high school graduating class.
Must have achieved a 3.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average.
Must enroll in an eligible four-year not-for-profit College or University the first semester following high school graduation.
Must maintain a four year or less graduation schedule in college, or complete the equivalent of a four year degree if in a professional program.
Recipients must work 240 hours from January 1, 2024 until commencement of the 2024 fall semester in college. Work can be performed at recipient discretion. Employment must be regularly scheduled work performed under supervision for compensation. Work can be full-time during the summer and/or part-time work.
Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2022 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000. “Household Income” is defined as the total income received by all members of a household living under the same roof.
Applicants selected as Finalists must provide a copy of their FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS).
Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible.
Must not have a felony conviction.
The intended recipient is a high-achieving goal-driven student having substantial financial need.
Healthworks KHA Foundation Scholarships (applications due February 28) 2324
ELIGIBILITY:
Kansas resident committed to pursuing their health care career in Kansas.
Part-time or full-time student in a health care course of study leading to a certificate, degree or credential not currently held. Proof of acceptance into the chosen career program will be required in order to receive the award.
Attending a Kansas educational institution, including technical, two-or four-year institution. An exception may be given for an accredited online or out-of-state program if the reason for choosing such an institution is explained in the answer to the goals question.
Attending a health care program that is accredited by their respective governing body.
Pre-med and medical students are not eligible.
Priority will be given to individuals currently working in any Kansas community hospital, especially a hospital that is licensed for 25 or fewer acute beds.
Independent Professional Seed Association Scholarship (applications due April 30) 2324
IPSA considers both high school seniors as well as active college students.
You must be majoring in an Agriculture related degree to be considered. Non-agriculture major applicants will NOT be considered under any circumstances
Preference is given to Agronomy and Science related fields (Agronomy, Crop, Soil, Engineering), and Business fields (Agriculture Business, Communications, Economics, Marketing). The IPSA Scholarship Program does not prioritize Animal Science or Pre-Vet Majors.
Selection will be based on a combination of academic achievement, community and agricultural involvement. All applications will be reviewed by the IPSA Scholarship Awards Committee and the Board of Directors of the Independent Professional Seed Association

Kansas Financial Scholars Essay Contest (applications due April 10)
Sponsored by the Kansas Office of the State Bank Commissioner
The Senior must attend a Kansas technical school, college, or university.
Scholarships will be issued directly to your chosen institution. Not attending a Kansas school of higher learning will constitute forfeiture of the award.
The Senior must have completed an age-appropriate Financial Literacy program that aligns with the Kansas Financial Literacy K-12 standards. (Ex: a student who receives a passing grade in a Financial Literacy class in 8th grade would be eligible to apply) Examples of Financial Literacy programs are included on the Financial Literacy Resources (ksde.org) list provided by the Kansas Department of Education.
Semester-long Financial Literacy classes are acceptable (if a Senior is enrolled in a Financial Literacy class during the last semester of their senior year, and they are selected as a finalist, their Financial Literacy teacher will be contacted to verify the student’s curricular participation)
If a certificate of completion is available for a completed Financial Literacy program, (ex: EVERFI), it must be included with essay submission. If not available, the student’s Financial Literacy teacher must verify curricular participation to confirm eligibility.
