Junior schoolwide testing date: March 5
The ACT is a college entrance exam including subject area tests in English, math, reading, science & writing (the latter test is optional). ACT scores can be used by post-secondary institutions to award scholarships & place students in appropriate courses. If your future plans involve higher education, it is worthwhile to invest some time in learning about & preparing for the ACT.

Enrolling in upper level classes (i.e. math, English, science, etc.) AND practice, practice, practice are a critical part in fully preparing for the ACT.
