Be enrolled full time as a high school junior in the United States
Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)
Demonstrate critical financial need ($65,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and
Be a United States citizen

The Ag Ambassador program is open to students who will be seniors in the fall, attending a Nemaha County High School or who live in Nemaha County. Each ambassador will serve a 13-month term starting May 1st and ending the following May 31st. The number of ambassadors selected will be
determined based upon the applications received.
Purpose:
1. Provide leadership opportunities.
2. Learn about Farm Bureau and how it works from the grassroots up, with emphasis on the
resolution and legislative process and advocacy for agriculture, including education.
3. Develop students to be spokespersons for agriculture.
