Alumni Scholarships

  • Alumnae Scholarship Program: Tuition-only scholarships ($1000-$4000) awarded annually to continuing undergraduate students by USC alumnae groups throughout Southern California. Be sure to check the criteria for each group before applying. (Apply by February 1.)

  • Alumni Club: One-time $1000-$4000 scholarships awarded by individual USC Alumni Clubs. Visit the alumni website for a list of participating clubs. (Apply by February 1.)

  • Asian Pacific Alumni Association: $1000-$5000 awarded to students who demonstrate active involvement in the Asian Pacific American community, and recipients are required to complete 15 community service hours with APAA. (Apply by February 16.)

  • Black Alumni Association: $3000-$12,000 annually, based on merit and financial need to students who demonstrate a strong leadership or community service commitment in the Black Community. (Apply by March 1.)

  • Half Century Trojans Endowed: $10,000 to applicants who are direct descendants (grandchildren or great-grandchildren) of a Half Century Trojan (USC alumna or alumnus who graduated at least 50 years ago). (Apply by February 1.)

  • Lambda LGBT Alumni Association: An average of $5000 given regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, based on academic achievement, personal merit, and contribution to the LGBT community. (Apply by January 31.)

  • Latino Alumni Association: $2000-$10,000 scholarships awarded based upon financial need and merit, including academic achievement, leadership, and active involvement in the Latino community. (Apply by February 1.)

  • SCions: $6000-$7000 for applicants who are the siblings, children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of USC alumni. (Apply by February 1.)

  • Town and Gown of USC: Up to $10,000 merit-based scholarships for tuition only. (Apply by December 1.)

Kaufman Stipends

  • Senior Project Stipend: Seniors will receive a $300 stipend towards their multidisciplinary senior project. No application is required.

  • USC Kaufman Global Experience Fund: USC Kaufman BFA majors attending a Kaufman-sponsored study abroad program are eligible for a stipend through the USC Kaufman Global Experience Fund. Please contact Anne Aubert-Santelli, Director of Admission & Student Services, at aubertsa@usc.edu for an application.

Provost Awards

  • Academic Achievement Award: Provides a tuition benefit (take up to 21 units at the 18-unit rate) to students who are pursuing multiple undergraduate degree objectives (double major, double degree, or minor), have at least sophomore standing, and have earned a GPA of at least 3.75. (Apply for Fall semester between June 1 and August 31.)

  • USC Provost's Undergraduate Research Fellowship: $1000 stipend to support research in any academic field for a period of at least ten weeks at 10 hours per week during the awarded term. (Fall application due August 23.)

  • USC Undergraduate Symposium for Creative and Scholarly Work: Allows students to exhibit examples of research and creativity in the areas of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Life Sciences, and Physical Sciences, Math & Engineering. A panel of judges gives $1000 and $500 prizes for each category at an awards banquet each spring.

  • USC Provost's First Generation Research Fellowships: $3000 stipend to conduct research in any academic field during the Summer term. (Apply by March 29.)

  • Awards and Fellowships Database: Searchable list of over 250 scholarship opportunities offered by organizations outside the university.

Career Center Scholarships

  • USC Dream Dollars Scholarship: Provides funding for students pursuing an unpaid internship for a non-profit organization over the summer.

  • First-Generation Scholarship: Provides funding for first-generation students pursuing an unpaid summer internship.

  • Professional Development Dollars: The USC Career Center offers financial support (up to $200) to student organizations' on-campus career-related events. (Apply at least one month prior to event.)

Commencement Awards

  • Renaissance Scholars: Recognizes and celebrates (and potentially awards $10,000 to) USC undergraduates who have excelled academically while pursuing at least two widely separate fields of study. (Apply by December 31 for certification and February 1 for prize.)

  • Discovery Scholars: Granted to graduating seniors who have excelled academically while making a meaningful contribution to their field of study through exceptional new scholarship or artistic work. Requires completion of a Capstone Project (with specific criteria for each school) and a faculty letter of recommendation. More information about USC Kaufman's requirements coming soon! (Apply by March 18.)

  • Global Scholars: Given to graduating seniors who have excelled in their studies both at USC and abroad. Applicants should have spent at least 10 weeks outside of the U.S. for academic study or work experience programs. Completion of a Capstone Project is also required, along with a reflective essay. More information about USC Kaufman's requirements coming soon! (Apply by February 11.)
