Disability Services & Programs
Disability Services and Programs (DSP) provides accommodations for students with documented disabilities. Confidential services include, but are not limited to, extended time on exams and note taker support. DSP also offers DART, which provides transportation to and from classes for students with temporary physical impediments.
Kortschak Center for Learning & Creativity
The Kortschak Center for Learning & Creativity provides free services to all students, including individual academic coaching, workshops (including on-demand streaming), a computer lab, and a quiet study room.
The Writing Center
Located in Taper Hall of Humanities (THH) 216, The Writing Center offers free services in the form of individual consultations and small-group workshops. Make an appointment using the web-based scheduling system on the center's website.
The Math Center
Located in Kaprielian (KAP) 263, the Math Center provides graduate students, faculty, and assistants available to help you with math. The Math Center is open Monday to Thursday 8am to 7pm and Friday 8am to 5pm. It is run informally and is designed for easy drop-in usage.
PEER TUTORING
USC offers peer tutoring for select courses in the following subjects:
Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics
French and Spanish
Music Composition
Psychology
Students seeking additional tutoring for courses not addressed by these resources should email tutoring@usc.edu. While not all requests can be met if a significant number of students are seeking support in the same course an effort can be made to identify additional academic support resources.
