Weekly Sports
Home and Away Games
Weekly sports games may be played at home (Urrbrae campus) or away at other participating school grounds. A fixture will be provided to students and posted here on the website before the first round.
For away games, the team needs to be at the host venue at 3:15 therefore, they may be dismissed from class at 2:30 to allow time to travel to the venue. For a home game, students may be dismissed from class at 3:00 to get prepared for the game.
Netball will always be at the Netball SA stadium. Students may depart class at 2:20 PM, meet at the farm gate at 2:30 PM and the bus will depart at 2:45 PM.
Transport for Away Games
The Urrbrae school buses will transport students to away games, or a hire bus will be arranged when they are unavailable. The buses will always return to Urrbrae school grounds at the end of the match, allowing students a ride back to school if needed.
Parents or caregivers can give permission for their child to be dismissed from the away venue. This is done by signing the Transport Agreement on the back of the consent form. If the agreement is signed, students can be picked up, allowed to catch public transport, or find their own way home from the venue.
Other Sporting Event
Travel arrangements for Knock-out Sport and Day Carnivals are very similar to Weekly Sport away games in regards to buses and parent pick ups. Travel times and a transport agreement will be written on the back of the consent form. Students are generally required to meet at the gym in the morning or they must communicate with staff if they intend to meet the team at the venue.
Current Fixtures
Fixtures may change. If they do, an announcement will be made on the Daymap bulletin.
The team listed on the left (first team) is the home team. Matches are played at the home team's ground unless otherwise specified.
Netball fixtures will be available after the two grading round are complete
