CORE Celebration
On March 27th, 2024 the IBPD Core team launches Uplands' first-ever Core Celebration Exhibition, where Year 12 and 13 students showcase their work related to TOK (Theory of Knowledge), CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) and EE (Extended Essay), as well as Year 11 students contribute with their KP (Knowledge Perspectives) work.
This Exhibition is run by students for students during a half-day.
Invitations to visit the Core Celebration Exhibition were sent to parents, all year groups of the Secondary school as well as the Year 6s, who are working towards their PYPx Exhibition. This is truly interesting for students in Year 10 and up, and the Middle Year students can have a glimpse of how the IB continuum looks like in the upper years. Teachers are encouraged to bring their classes and will have a visitor sheet prepared for students to record their impressions and findings during their gallery walks of the various sections of the Core Celebration Exhibition.
Showcasing the CAS posters and portfolio presentations of the Uplands Year 13 cohorts are the culmination of the students' Projects, Experiences, and Learning Outcomes they have accomplished on their CAS journey @Uplands.
